Pastor Greg Linscott began his ministry in Marshall in February 2008. He is a graduate of Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa. He was ordained to the ministry by the Altoona Regular Baptist Church, where he served as an Associate Pastor, and was also previously pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Skowhegan, Maine. He has been married to Jennifer since 1995. Greg and Jennifer have four children- Abby, Kati, Dori, and Reggie.

Greg enjoys studying the history of American Fundamentalism and Evangelicalism, listening to the music of J.S. Bach, blogging, rooting for the Boston Red Sox, and eating black licorice Twizzlers. He has been published in magazines such as YouthNet, Frontline and the Baptist Bulletin. Greg maintains two blogs, currentchristian.com, a newswatch link blog, and irrelevant, a collection of random thoughts on church ministry and life in general.
